Distilling process

Essential oil is produced using our copper Still with the method steam Distillation,

we harvest our lavender in the morning once the dew has evaporated.

Harvest for some of our Lavender is year round (Lavendula Dentata) known as French lavender, our other Lavender with be ready for harvest late spring early summer, when the plant is in full Bloom

The steam Distillation Process takes 2 Hours

the Condenser is where the pipe is holding the steam where the oil and water travels to to cool down, as it goes down the condenser which is filled with cool water to cool the pipe containing the steam and converts the steam which is in a gas form back to a liquid state , the hot water exists the valve at the top and cold water replaces the hot at the bottom of the condenser and the cold water gradually cools the condenser and it releases the hydrosol and oil into a separator

the Oil and Hydrosol is Separated as oil floats to the top and the hydrosol at the bottom .
